White Castle restaurants are rolling out their new Impossible Slider, a vegetarian-friendly dish that features a plant-based patty, a freshly baked bun and zesty pickle slices.
The Impossible Slider is crafted to have a unique taste from the classic White Castle Slider (which is made with a beef patty) and also comes with a layer of crispy, sautéed onions.
For those looking for a dairy-free alternative, White Castle is currently product testing GoodPlanet dairy-free cheddar cheese slices with the Impossible Slider in New York and New Jersey. White Castle is hoping to eventually launch a dairy-free cheese option at the majority of their restaurants.

*While the Impossible Slider's patty is cooked on a separate grill and its ingredients are vegan (when ordered without the inclusion of real dairy cheese), White Castle can not 100% guarantee it being vegan as some slight level of cross-contamination with cooked meat, dairy products or other allergens in the kitchen may occur.
